This IDC Market Share study analyzes the evolution of public PaaS vendor market shares in Europe in 2020."Organizations in Europe have been implementing broad application delivery modernization programs, and these have been propelling spend with vendors offering public PaaS. For the past five years, at an aggregate level, vendors in the public PaaS space in Europe have been growing at above 30% per annum. The COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated that public PaaS is a solid space to be in, as spending maintained above-30% YoY growth and hit nearly $10 billion for organizations in Europe. The size of the market and its fast growth show that there is good room for a variety of vendor profiles and offerings to compete for customers in Europe," said George Mironescu, senior manager, IDC Europe.
