Growth will be driven by rising income levels, which will increase the number of first-time vehicle buyers in developing countries, and the resolution of many pandemic-related supply chain issues, especially the semiconductor shortage. The motor vehicle parc is projected to increase 2.5% per year to 1.9 billion in 2027.
