Global packaging volumes increased from 3.7 trillion units in 2018 to 4.1 trillion units in 2023, recording a CAGR of 2% during 2018-23. Volumes are forecast to reach 4.5 trillion units in 2028, recording a CAGR of 2.1% during 2023-28. Asia-Pacific was the largest market in the global packaging industry with a 46.3% share of total volumes in 2023. The region will record the fastest CAGR of 2.9% during 2023-28.
