With the rising population, on a global scale, wherein recent estimates provided by United Nation's, states that the world population is projected to reach 9.8 billion by 2050. Consequently, this demographic trend creates an increased demand for food, particularly meat products. Since it requires less land and water than traditional meat, cultured meat has become a possible substitute, levying several advantages over traditional meat in terms of production and consumption, including a lower environmental effect.
